MKCA developed a series of event atmospheres for the Van Alen’s second annual Spring Party benefit at the Surrogate’s Courthouse in Lower Manhattan.
The atrium of the Beaux Arts landmark was transformed through a series of lighting and haze based interventions and featuring three gigantic illuminated helium balloons that rose and fell over the course of the evening. MKCA also planned the gala dinner for 200 guests, organized around several heroically long tables covered with custom perforated silver fabric and ringing the atrium’s mezzanine.
