Featured in the book 100 Houses: Nature and Nurture, the Upper East Side Townhouse explores a unique ecological-architectural relationship by providing space for not only the inhabitants to enjoy, but also space for ecology to grow and thrive as well. The successful establishment of this relationship, required the input of multiple other designers, scientists, architects, and artists, and the result was a true multidisciplinary collaboration and synthesis across art, architecture, industrial design, and ecology.
